MANIFOLD
aims to make advanced mathematical ideas available to a wider general audience. It is published thrice yearly by MANIFOLD PUBLICATIONS, which is wholly and solely owned by Robin.Fellgett, John Jaworski, Ramesh Kapadia, Donal Monaghan, Ian Stewart and Mark Stewart. It is published at, but not by, the University of Warwick.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
In the United Kingdom and Eire.the annual.subscription is 60p. and entitles you to 3 issues including postage.
The Overseas subscription rate is $4 (USA) or the equivalent of £1.60. This is a two-year subscription and entitles you to 6 issues including postage by surface mail.
Annual subscription rates for libraries, mathematics departments and other multi-reader institutions are £1.50 in the UK and Eire, and $10 or equivalent elsewhere.
Please ensure that cheques or money-orders are made payable to MANIFOLD PUBLICATIONS and that the above address is quoted in full.

BACK NUMBERS
are available at the relevant subscription rate. Some issues are limited to a small reserve stock for institutional subscribers intending to purchase complete runs of the journal. On request, we can supply xerox copies of any issue including early issues which ate now otherwise unavailable. The charge for Xerox copies is dependent on the particular issue required and details are,available on request.

CONTRIBUTIONS
are welcomed, as are ideas for articles from those not prepared to write, ideas for SIGNS, cartoons and the like. Art-work should wherever possible be supplied full-size and should bear in mind the limitations of the medium in respect of half tones and areas of solid tone. Mathematical articles should present significant ideas with a minimum of technidality; non-mathematical articles of mathematical interest will be well received.

are copyright, but permission to reproduce them is customarily granted without formality on application,to the editors.
