Margaret Davy
known simply as M. to her friends, took a degree at Bedford College
before doing an M.Sc. at Nottingham, where she presented a dissertation
on Hilbert's 10th problem. She is now lecturing
at Didsbury College of Education. She is keen on sports, excelling at
badminton.

for the article on the constructivist manifesto
as part of the degree course in mathematics at the University of Warwick.
Chris Little

went to teach mathematics in Cameroun for two years, after reading mathematics
in Oxford. At present he is studying for an M.Sc at Nottingham. He is
interested in music, motor bikes and brewing - as well an mathematics.

did a four.year course at Leeds Fine Art Department. After a course at
the education institute in London, she decided that she didn't want to
teach at school, so she is working.in a bookshop and also takes an evening
art class once a week.
