Be passive: stay on the outskirts and observe the actions of others -
do not rush forward. It will be advantageous to make a long journey.
OX
Joy! Persistence brings a re- ward, despite restlessness and small anxieties.
There will be misfortune during September. Have no faith in what is crumbling.
TIGER
Modesty brings success, hard work brings fortune: cultivate a sense of
modesty about one's wealth - take the middle course, but now is the time
to act in the public good. Do not travel!
RABBIT
Progress - merit is richly rewarded: revise one's aims in the light of
unfavourable circumstances but yielding under constraint will only bring
ill. There is favour in supporting one's juniors.
DRAGON
Stand firm! It is good to have an aim, but aim low: the humble, not the
mighty are favoured
SNAKE
Prolonged violent exercise brings misfortune The persistent traveller
will have small successes but the words to the Dragon should also be heeded.
HORSE
One is not to blame for any inconvenience to one's Lord! One will meet
unpleasant and frightening things - think at first to fend them off, but
then let them stay. A slight setback may occur, or again it may rain.
See the difference between the bad and the apparently bad for the best
results.
SHEEP
Trifling with trivia brings calamity. We laugh at others' misfortunes
until we realise we are laughing at ourselves. Do not be afraid or alone
- it is good to be in command
MONKEY
Do not drag on disputes - consult.one's superiors and cherish tradition.
Do not seek public office, nor travel. Work to strengthen one's character.
COCK
It is good to travel: act in the obvious way. Use spiritual means of defending
oneself,
DOG
In vital matters, frankness is dangerous - trust one's own people.
BOAR
Fear will cause us to mend our ways, but careful thought can avert loss.
The time has come for important sacrifices: it is good to have something
to believe in.
